Why LEF?
Women’s stories are everywhere in the food system, but definitely not always in the way they should be. Too often, their contributions are simplified, sidelined, or shaped to fit outdated narratives. LEF exists to change that.

LEF is a space where impact isn’t about perfection, but courage in action within the food system. Where contributions aren't measured by conventional metrics, but by the tangible change we cultivate, together. Because the truth is, you don’t need it all figured out to make a profound difference.
This isn’t just about storytelling; it’s about shifting power, creating inclusive space, and proving that every woman, at any scale, in any part of the food system, has a story worth telling. And when those stories are heard, they spark real, systemic change.
